Trakker yells Go Joe!
Dropping in a Target yesterday, I browsed the toy section as usual seeing what's new in my favorite toy universes. Upon coming to the GI Joe section and sighing resignedly at most of the new designs (many not as good as the old ones), I landed my eyes on a dashing serious-looking guy in a flight suit and mini-helipack.
I laughed when I noticed his codename was "Specialist Trakker" which coincided with the name of another figure from a different toy series I had also liked. Since the similarities of face and costume was strikingly familiar, I thought it was a designer's inside joke and homage that slipped through.
Until I noticed the logo in the upper right hand corner... Mobile Armored Strike Kommand... M.A.S.K. the very name of the toy series Trakker was in. And then I remembered, Hasbro had bought MASK creator Kenner so now GIJoe and MASK are technically in the same corporate universe... lol

Later surfing the web confirmed the rumor and news of this crossover toy had been in the works for at least an year... wow Thanks, Hasbro.
Now you did say VENOM as well. Any chance of the other MASK people coming in to play? ;)
