(no subject)
So my big bro won full custody of little Erin. I am super duper stoked. It was really bothering me that the ex-wife could raise this kid. She's one of those "sweet" kids. She acts up sometimes like toddlers are wont to do, but she doesn't do temper tantrums, she plays well with other kids, and when she does something bad she'll find her favorite toy to give you and say "i sowwie". Oh man, I'm getting a little choked up just thinking about it.
The mom is terrible. Not a terrible person, but a terrible mom. She was disciplined HEAVILY when she was a kid, so her way of "raising" her kids is to not discipline them at all. Her other girl that's like 6 is just evil. We were watching the super bowl a couple of years ago and we were all absorbed in the game. She likes to be the center of attention. So this crazy ass kid picks up a cell phone, the ones with the antenna, AND STABS ME IN THE FUCKING EYE. If I hadn't reacted quickly enough I would be on my way to being a pirate. Which is really fucked up because I'm all about the ninjas.
She feeds the kids freaking fast food cheeseburgers and potato chips. My bro would buy groceries and stock up the fridge, but when he would visit again, it would be all spoiled. She believes in letting them eat what they want to eat. Anyway, it's just nuts.
So now little Erin will be back in a stable home, get proper nutrition, be in a learning environment, and just tons and tons of pluses. I love this kid. I'm glad she gets to come home.
