(no subject)
I sit here now, making this entry through one eye and a swollen finger. Did he beat me? Nothing so exciting. I was freakin devoured by a spider last night. I was pretty toasty last night, so I attributed the pain in my head to a hangover or something. I wake up thinking my eye is glued shut because of wearing my contacts to bed or SOMETHING. Geez. I get a glass of juice and notice that my hand is pretty swollen, stiff, and achy. I didn't get suspicious til I tried to rub my eye a little and pain sprinkled my brain. I look like a monster.
Anywho. Good weekend, last one. We trekked up to Lake Bryan to look for fish tank item hopefuls. One of the main things we sought was a water logged...log or drift wood. Lake Bryan is very dead, but it was a beautiful day. It'd be nice to have a picnic out there sometime and/or bring the animals along. Did I say we got a fish tank? It's a 150 gallon beauty. Huuuuge. I can lie in it. Comfortably. It's in the kitchen. The kitchen has come a loooong way. The cabinet in the middle of the kitchen are moved to the sides, so there's a lot more breathing room and you don't bump your head on the hanging one. There's the new floor and counter tops. Nesha gave me the idea of painting the kitchen yellow to brighten it up some and it looks sweeeeeet. The cabinet doors are stained this maroonish color and it is my task to go about painting the actual cabinets. We're thinking about a light to medium gray color to blend with the counter top. Then the trim still needs to be stained and put up top. So, there's still stuff to be done, but it's movin.
It was a relaxing weekend. We went to the pet store, also. He won't let me get a mouse for the kitties. :-/
We also saw V is for Vendetta and Basic Instinct II. More on that later, my eye is killing me.
