CA Woes = USA Woes

May 19, 2009 13:14

CA has been governed by the Democrats and the occasional RINO for the past 20+ some odd years and now needs a massive federal government bail out to stay solvent. If the federal government follows the same kind of spending and programs that CA did...who is going to bail out the federal government?

C'mon, man, you're just tryin' to keep us down!

Or something. I don't know what people who think the government should bail them out are actually thinking, because they seem to have never made the connection that the government is spending THEIR money, their tax dollars. They want tax cuts and more spending? Arg!

All I know is that with every pay check I keep a little bit out and hide it under my mattress and make sure that my food, water, and other survival neccesities for a year are stocked and ready.

When you learn to make your own bullets, I'll worry. ;)

I know how to make my own bullets...just have not gotten the tools and materials to do so. Right now the cost has increased a lot due to a ammo shortage due to stockpiling going on as well as the war. The 5.56 is used by M-16's and M-4's so the army is decreasing supply. 7.62 is still somewhat cheaper. During a zombie apocolypse though it will be tougher to find the 7.62 ammo inside of the US since it is mostly used by armed forces other then the US. An AR-15 modified to us 9mm rounds is still the best way to go though it does have decreased stopping power due to the smaller bullet size.

I am both impressed and afraid. ;)

Also, as one of the zombies, I must say that firepower will not be enough to stop the ravening horde. /noms on brains

I agree that firepower alone won't protect you from ravening hordes. One person can not stock pile that much ammo (though I do know where the local National Guard armouries are though) that's why I also have plans on avoidance and evasion. That's where SERE training comes into play.

You can't evade forever. Eventually you will grow weary. We will never tire. We will never stop.
