Daily Ramblings
Sorry I stopped doing the Daily Ramblings. I was sent to Kandahar for several days to get Comm Keys.
So...I am trying to figure out where I want to go on vacation in April. I started to go through what my criteria was and started to whittle away areas I didn't want to visit to come up with where I did want to go. It something like this:
1. Some where that is not Afghanistan. (This was an easy one!)
2. Some where that Islam is not the majority religion. (Leaves out the Middle East and parts of Africa.)
3. Some where that is not Africa. (There goes that continent.)
4. Not the American continents since I am over here. (Two more continents off the list. That's a bit more then half the world!)
5. Not the UK, France or Ireland since I am going there later with my daughter.
6. Not anywhere that would put my clearance in jeopardy. (The only thing left on the list for that is China and N. Korea)
Those were the easy decisions. That leaves us with still a major part of Europe, SW Asia, and Australia. Still a big chunk left out there.
7. Not some where I might want to take my daughter for later vacations. (This kinda ruled Australia out as well as parts of Europe)
8. Some where English is widely spoken.
Anyways...when I got right down to it...S. Korea is pretty much at the top of the list. It's going to cost a bit more then I expected, but what the heck! Back to practicing my Korean pick up lines. Anyong ho se yo!
