Reports of my demise may have been greatly exaggerated. Work still sucks. My crazy brain still sucks.The ongoing HOMEWORK WARS v2.o with Rose still suck. I may shove this stupid mousetrap car project Maggie had to do for science class up her teacher's nose. But other than that...
We're going to Austin next week for Spring Break with a swing through sockkpuppett's neck of the woods on the way back. I believe the spouse planned our itinerary with the express purpose of keeping me from seeing any bands who may be playing in the area after I LOL NO'd his plan to go from Longview to Abilene to Austin in one day so he could visit some plants for work while we sat in the car twiddling our thumbs waiting).
Like many folks on my FL, I am all registered & ready to go to Vividcon. I even have a vid started. Now if i could only finish it...
And speaking of vids (heh, like that smooth transition?) allow me to STRONGLY recommend that you head on over to heresluck's LJ and watch her new Star Trek vid. Oh it's SHINY & WONDERFUL. Easily one of the best ST vids I've ever seen. It does a great job of melding the new reboot with TOS in a way that makes perfect sense. Go watch it. It's awesome & you wont be disappointed.
Be sure & leave her a comment or two if you like it. Good vids should be savored & celebrated!
