One party down....trick or treating to go!

Rose's party went well. The kids were remarkably well behaved. They sat & chatted with one another. Ate their cupcakes, drank their juice, asked for seconds politely. They swapped & shared candy & treat bag junk. No spills. No fights. No sugar freakouts ( Read more... )

Just Super Glue.
Is that what people are sniffing these days? I thought that they had moved on to over the counter an prescription drugs... people will stick anything up their nose!

I can't even imagine sniffing super glue. With my luck, I'd glue my nostril shut. *shakes head*

I can't believe people sniff that to get high. That's majorly stupid.

On the bright side though, you got carded. *G*

That's true! When you're my age, getting carded for anything is a thrill.

Congratulations for a lovely sounding Halloween party.

And so, you're secretly into the Elmer's. Who knew?

Not so much with the Elmers...though a nice fresh mimeographed worksheet always did it for me. ( And by golly doesn't that just date me completely?)

Mmmmm... mimeographs.... That reminded me of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Classic.

( And by golly doesn't that just date me completely?)

It sure does and do you find yourself saying that more often now? I do! Well, except for the 'by golly'... ;)

And according to the girls, I'm so old, I should be a museum relic.

Ah Fast Times...The spouse & I were trying to describe the pizza delivery scene from Fast Times to Maggie last night at dinner. I'm pretty sure we've reached that "oh my god my parents have REALLY lost their freakin' minds this time!" level in her opinion. *g*

I get carded for EVERYTHING. R-rated movies, super glue, compressed gas (the little air things that clean laptops and stuff), white-out, you name it. Blows. Granted, I am 21 and people ask me what grade I'm in all the time. *pout*

I will say it's much more flattering to be carded at 41 than it is at 21. Though honestly, when I was 21, I never got carded. I always seemed to pass older than I was.

My mind just boggles at the stuff they have to age check for now. Compressed air? Glue?
