Went to see Star Trek on Saturday and LOVED it.

Zachary Sthhhmeging Quinto - what a genius! My friend only realised YESTERDAY that it was actually him- poor sausage, he actually had to shave his eyebrows :C Oh, and Simon Pegg, of course, was just.... phwar. Love that man. His Scottish accent was EPIC! My friend (same friend) went 'Nooo... that's not ( Read more... )

:C Aw noes, that's a shame. I mean, I can understand that, although my Rimmer costume's only really cost me... 99p for the jacket, and £8 for the jeans, but I could've used a pair I already had! My dad's found odd bobs to sew onto the jacket as the collar and the stripes he has across the chest and erm... arms. My best friend's getting a £6 dress when we go shopping tomorrow- I guess it just depends what you're going for; whether you want everything TOTALLY accurate or not! *shrugs*

OH, Zachary Quinto is immense! He's basically the only reason I went to go and see the film ;D Apparently all the characters are VERY like the ones that were in the original series, or so my dad said (but I don't know how he knows, 'cause he hasn't watched any of them either!) OMG, yessss, I've seen that kiss! It made me laugh! AND GEEEEZ, SMUDGE AND FREEDOM ;D I loved him in that, being all 'Hi, I'm bi-sexual!' LOL, bless him!

C: Oh god, he is, he's in my top 10, definately!

DDDD; Ohhh, well that's fair enough! I guess that the film has appealed to more people who aren't fans, but there is some stuff in there that Trekkers would find HILARIOUS, whereas non-fans would just find it amusing ;D If you know what I mean! Awww, that's cute LOL! Your mum and you have good taste then ;D

DDDDDDDDDDDDDD; Ohhhh, yeah, that was it! I knew there was a reason that they weren't having a series 9. BTE was series 9 ;D Not that I'm complaining, BTE is what got me into Red Dwarf in the first place! I mean, I didn't REALLY have a clue what was going on, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. ;DDD Ahhhh lucky sod! I've only got series 1-4 of Red Dwarf, and NO Brittas! :C I've never actually seen it!! *brick'd*

Yeah..... I mean, there's the expense of costuming, but also the fact that I didn't really find out I was going until around 2 weeks ago (my friend asked me to go in order to save her from being alone with one of her friends and a group of people she'd never met) so I really had no time at all

He really is immensely immense. And I still dunno what it is about him. Well aside from the fact that he is just amazingly attractive in every way.... he also seems like such a lovely guy.
And OH MY GOD! You're icon = SQUEE (yes, I squee)
Ever since seeing that I've wanted to jump on someone and yell TASTE MY BI-SEXUAL FURY! whilst slapping them on the head. And considering I am bi-sexual, it would work quite well.
And yes, he is definately definately in my top 10. No doubt about that. I mean, last night, whilst being very bored, I ended up saving over 200 pictures of him on my computer.... o_O

And yeah, there are loads of little references to the old series that Trekkers would absolutely love, and in general the film is just so amazing that anyone could find enjoyment in it.
And yeah, my mum and me do seem to have the seem idea about men. Most of the time. Although, she does seem to think that Zachary Quinto looks weird, she said she found him too American-looking.... what the hell does that even mean?

And yeah, my parents introduced me to Red Dwarf back when I was around 4 or 5 years old, so around series 7 sort of time. After that I could only catch it on Dave when Dave was first introduced. I only got all the DVDs early this year, since I had enough money to do that.
Then since my Chris Barrie obsession started I wanted to see what else he'd been in and then I found The Brittas Empire. Needless to say I adored it, so I brought the entire series 1-7 boxset.
IS AWESOME!!!!

Ah, that's fair enough! That's like my friend, she only knew she was coming TONIGHT ;D She was trying to find someone to cosplay as, that she had the clothes for lmfao! Aw, well, it'll be fun all the same! If you see three girls, one in... I actually don't know ;D The other dressed as Rimmer, and the other as Katerina (from BTE) come over, and say hi (and erm... tell me who you are!) I'm Rimmer ;DD

OH GOD. He's such a cutie! I fell in love with him during the first series of Heroes, and I still love him now! His eyebrows are gorgeous (and seeing as I have rather large eyebrows myself, it's all gooooood). He was absolutely brilliant in that part! I just love the voice he has when he speaks- what a lovely, lovely guy C: I really wanted him to come to the anime convention, 'cause there's a Heroes panel, but he never did :C HAHA, yeesss, squee at my smudge icon, dammit ;DDDD SQUEEEE!

Awww, see, that's what I like about films! Although it would help if I was a fan originally, and erm... I knew what they were actually going on about ;D Like Hot Fuzz, there are LOADS of references from Shaun of the Dead, that you wouldn't think were AS funny if you hadn't watched it prior! Awww, but, it was still an EPIC film, and the special effects were lovely!!

HAHA, too American looking ;D I don't actually know what my mum thinks, I guess she thinks he's a little weird, after seeing him cut the top of people's heads open. STILL, after that, I seem to find him lovely, and cute, and harmlesss ;D Poor Gabby! (btw, that's what I call Sylar ;D)

DDD: Awww, lucky! I don't think my parents realised that I would be into science-fiction and stuff, so they never made me watch it- wish they did, that's really unfair that you got introduced to it at such a young age :C Dave, ah, what genius! I always saw it on there, never actually had a look at what it was- what a numpty!! Ooooh, Brittas! I still haven't actually seen it, but my dad was going to get me the 1-7 boxset for my birthday... I'm not sure why he didn't actually! And, I've obviously had the fangirly opinion of it, so I'm not really sure what to do ;DDD

How did you find the expo?
It was simply AMAZING! I didn't find out Craig Charles was gonna be there until I was actually there..... I GOT A HUG!!!! (and an autograph as well, of course)
I think I gave everyone who had a free hug sign (that I saw) a free hug. I GOT LOTS OF HUGS FROM PEOPLE!!!!

And yeah, he really is a major cutie. But like I said, he has the strange ability to be really adorable and then REALLY SEXY! Like, seriously sexy. And the eyebrows just kind of pull the whole super sexy look together.
I think his voice in general in very appealing. It's quite deep when he wants it to be, but he can still make it go higher at specific moments. It would be freaking awesome if he'd come to any convention in the UK.... I know I'd be there. I'd probably faint before actually seeing him at all.
And yea I did squee at your Smudge icon. Now why don't YOU squee at mine ^_^

Gah, he's just lovely ^_^

Yeah, the thing with films is that I always try to see the previously made film before the new ones, so that I don't seem completely oblivious to everything.

I showed my mum more interview clips. She thinks he looks better in interview than he does in photoshoots/Heroes. You're right there is still something very appealing about the character of Gabriel/Sylar, even after the psychopathic killing sprees.

Yeah, that's one thing I love my parents for, they have awesome taste in films/TV. They really weren't expecting me to be into science fiction, it came as a complete surprise to them.
And yes, you simply MUST seen Brittas, it is pretty much AMAZING. So hilariously funny in every way. All the characters are brilliantly done as well. It's jst awesome ^_^
I thought I was just going to have a fangirly thing with it, but really, after the initial 'ZOMG CHRIS BARRIE IS AWESOME!' phase with it, you really begin to appreciate it for being a brilliantly well-thought out SitCom.

(P.S. I GOTS AMAZING PICTURE OF ZACHARY QUINTO AS SPOCK! It shall be hung on my wall, and I will loves it! You should've seen me carrying it around with me all day. I would not let it go for anyone)

OMG, I met Craig too! I actually TOLD HIM 'I didn't know you were going to be here!!!' and of course, I was dressed as Rimmer, so I got a big grin from him! I didn't ask for a hug though, I probably should've (btw, here's my piccie with him- did you get one? I'd love to see it: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=673271181&ref=name#/photo.php?pid=1764652&op=1&o=global&view=global&subj=673271181&id=673271181) Darn, I wish I could've seen ya there ;D LMFAO we were going to do that, but chickened out ;D You're very brave lol! Did you go to the Merlin panel? I did, and I asked a question- so if you did, you may remember meee ;D

Oh, his voice is lovely! I could listen to it all day (infact, I really want it as my text message alert ;D Either that or Rimmer saying 'Mind that bus, what bus, splat' or something ;DDD LOL, omg, I had a dream ages ago that Zach came :C 'Cause there's guys from Heroes there usually (mainly, my fourth favourite character, Mr Matt Parkman ;D) but not Zachy :C OMG, I DID SQUEE AT YOUR ICON, BLESS SMUDGE, WHAT A CUTIE PIE!!

Oh, that's a good idea- that's what my mum made me do with Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- she made me watch the TV series first so I knew what it was going on about! Glad she did ;D

LOL, ah yes, I do like him in interviews and stuff, because he's a little bit quieter, and quite shy aswell C: It's very sweet. Ohhhh, I love killers! It's great when they're as good looking and sweet as Mr Grey!

Ah, darn ;D LOL, well, I guess it was a surprise to my parents too! I mean, I was into anime and stuff first, so this is sort of a branch off from that. I mean, I didn't REALLY like it, until I watched Back to the Future, and Star Wars... and then it all sort of spiralled out of control ;D Ooooooh, that's good then! I may actually get 'round to buying it, and just hope that it's not like Jeeves and Wooster (bought the first seres, and got a bit bored half way through ;C Haven't watched it since!!)

(OMG, OH, I saw that! I was gonna buy it but got distracted by Craig and Gareth!!! 'Cause y'know... their little signing bit was right next to the poster stall! I didn't actually buy anything, but I spent £30 on signings from Gareth and Craig :C I can spend my money on other things now though ;D And they're a lot cheaper than at the Expo!)

Yeah I did get a picture ^_^: http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/8839/hpim3246.jpg
(I can't see your picture btw, it might be facebook playing up, is there anywhere else you can upload it?)
I look well weird in the picture, I look so nervous it's unreal.

Unfortunately we didn't go to the Merlin thing, though it would've be awesome. At the time I was on a hunt for badges and free hug people ^_^

Oh my god, his voice as a text message alert..... the only problem with it would be that I'd swoon everytime I got text message... and I get quite a few of those o_O.
Heh that dreams sounds immense ^_^
Oh how wonderful would it be to meet Zach.... it would be amazingly brilliant.

They should've made a Smudge a recurring character.

Although his character Sasan, from So NoTORIous is also amazing, and a little bit similar, so I guess we do get mroe than one episode of something.

He is absolutely lovely in interviews. I've far too many Star Trek interviews and he is so sweet in all of them, especially the ones with him and Chris Pine. They are so good together, they play off each other really well. And is it just me or are they almost always (at awards shows) standing with arms linked or arms around each others waists. They're really touchy feely together.

Yeah, my Sci-Fi obsession was first around when I was really young, and then I got into this weird 'I want to be cool' stage, which meant I refused to watch anything slightly 'nerdy', and then I was in this whole 'Emo' stage, and TV didn't interest me at all back then. Now I'm more myself and I've never felt better. I now openly admit how much of a nerd I am and it makes me feel good ^_^

(The picture is absolutely gorgeous, they had none left in the boxes so the woman let me have the one on the wall. So I got the last picture and it's such a amazing picture. I have to hang it up, but I'll probably end up doing that today)

OMG, haha, that picture's so cute ;D LOL, bless you- I was really nervous aswell! Oh, SORRY, here's my picture ;DD http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q164/Sad_Indy_Gal/P1020500.jpg ;DDD I was so nervous, although, I forgot to ask for a picture, and I turned to Gareth, then turned back to Craig and shouted (and pointed at him!) 'PICTURE!'

DDDD: Aw, well, it was quite good C: i'll send you the link to my question, if anyone puts it up on youtube- they're such a lovely group of people!

LMFAO! I'd just go into 'spazz' mode, and end up just squeeing wherever I was! DDDD: It would be so wonderful, 'cause I think he really gets on well with fans <3

DDDDD: They should- or made him his own DARN SHOW!! He's that awesome ;D

<33333 Ah true! Oh, what a lovely man- you just cannot have enough of him!! I could watch him all day (infact, I did, a couple of months ago I had a whole day of Heroes- ahhh, it was so lovely- and it was the first series, where he's the loveliest!)

DDDDDDD: Awwww, I've only seen the one where he's with Leonard- that's very cute, he's all 'Well, I'm a big fan' and Leonard's all 'He's very good!!' DDDDDD: REALLY?! Omg, that's the cutest thing ever! I had not noticed that!! <3 What cuties!!

DDDDDD: Oh goodness me! A lot of stages, it sounds very confusing ;C I mean, yeah, I can understand- there's always that lovely 'emo' stage you go through LOL! I had that- nothing interested me at all ;D NERDY IS BEST THOUGH!

(OMG, that's really good! Was it a limited edition one? 'Cause I know the one that I got Craig to sign- I know, different stall, but...- was 395/1000! Oh yes, that sounds good --- oooh, and by the way, because y'know, I haven't done this yet- HI, I'm GRACE!)

Wow, I adore your picture. You look really awesome as Rimmer ^_^
I can't imagine what his reaction must have been when you pointed at him. Probably a bit similar to when I pointed at him when he walked past me after I'd just had him hug me and sign a picture. I was still really giddy/shaky after it and suddenly he walks past me and I'm just like OMG SQUEE!!!!! With added pointing.
I'd love to hear your question ^_^ I'm glad they're so nice

I was saying to a couple of friends that if Zach was there as well I'd probably just faint. I've seen from videos that he is really friendly with fans.

We just need a Zachary Quinto show. OMG that would be freaking awesome ^_^ ^_^
I'd never miss it. I'd cancel work for it.
I could never ever have enough Zach. He is one of a small number of actors that I think looks just as good (if not better) out of character as he does in character. The photoshoot of him with the boxes:
http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/300/5zjd4l.jpg
http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/2714/0091o.jpg
http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7283/2qiu3hk.jpg
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/962/whfr0w.jpg
http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/4831/34nqyiu.jpg

The guy is just far too good-looking, its almost unreal. I didn't think I'd ever find an actor that I found more attractive than Chris Barrie.... but I think he may be just that actor.

This user on youtube has put up a whole bunch of 'Best of' interview videos for Chris Pine and Zachary. There all amazing:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o28XrMXk4rE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB8zJlFf44c

I think the Emo/Goth stage is the most common stage for teenagers to go through, where your'ee only interested in these depressing sounding whiny bands and you pretty much spend most days being depressed and down and gloomy and no one really wants to be around you.
But you're right NERDY IS THE BEST!
I spent all day (and all of last night) round a friend's house, watching the old Star Trek films. We've alsmot finished the first film with the "The Next Generation" cast and we'll be finishing them all tomorrow ^_^

(I dunno whether it was limited edition. I think so because they told me that they had none left and they had to give me the wall one. Really really high quality picture and extremely gorgeous. I may find a frame for it to hang up proudly on my wall.
HI GRACE! I'M ANTONIA
Heh, Craig's face when he heard my name, it was almost like 'Now how the hell am I supposed to spell that')

LOL, thankyouuuu *blushes* Both he and Gareth looked very amused by it ;DD

LMFAO! Bless, poor man!! He'd taken a lot of pointing at on Saturday ;D I feel sorry for him! Shame we didn't see each other, we could've been the 'Let's Scare Craig Charles With Pointing And Squeeing Team' (LSCCWPST?!)

ZACHARY QUINTO SHOW! <3 I would DIE if they made one ;D Just a whole hour of Zach mooching around! I would PAY to watch that! Oh, those pictures are SRSLY sexy! I love the first one the best ;D The man really has taste- those converse are lovely!

DDDD: Ohhhhh really?! Hmmmm, well he is RATHER nice, I do have to admit ;D I think, for me, he's up there with Mr Barrie ;D

C: Ooooh, I'll have to go and have a look at them!

DDD; Oh yeah, buh, and then afterwards you realise 'Omg, my poor friends!' Mine wasn't too bad for like... my family or anything, but my best friend got everything ;DD

NERDY, YAYYY! Ooooh, that is so cute! <3 Naww, bless you and your friends ;D None of my friends would want to do that :C My best friend barely wants to watch Red Dwarf nowww ;D Although, I did lend her the first series (which she hasn't watched anymore than I made he watch 'round my house ;DDD)

(Ooooh, well that's pretty cool! Mine had a number on the back- hmmm, if yours doesn't, I mean... it could be anyway if they said that they had to get that one off the wall- which is the one I sawww :D
HALLOOO! Ohhh, bless him <33 This is why I would never like to go and do signings ;D Poor Gareth put Chris instead of Grace, and my best friend had to go up to him before we left and ask him to change it ;D He was really apologetic!)
