I am alive, I just keep getting distracted lately. There's nothing really significant rl-ish going on lately to bother writing about and I haven't really felt like I've had the energy lately to flail about anything. But I'm around and I'm writing/working on vids like a maniac, so I suppose that's something.
jthreesome reveals are tomorrow today! I'll be posting my fic here once they're up. I personally think it's a little obvious which one I wrote, but I don't know if anyone actually guessed. I'm looking forward to seeing who wrote mine, and a few others...
In Fukuoka Dome, where we exchanged a hot kiss, I thought, "As I thought, it's still gotta be your lips." There are no lips that can rival yours."

here.
Damn, I hate posting fic on days when Ohmiya decides to out-gay it in reality. ♥
Going Out | Ohno/Nino, PG-13 | ~1,100 words
Spawned from Pornstorm chat - basically, I adopted
honooko's plotbunny and ended up incorporating two drabbles I had written earlier - one that I had already posted here, one that I hadn't.
This is for
omnipresentdmat, even if she didn't want it, and for
lady_gemma, because my sister "likes the Aiba one best", for
honooko and
crazychickencow, because they're always ready and willing to lend me a hand for anything I need. ILU lots, Pornstorm. Let's go on forever. ♥
"It's a date, then," Ohno says, and the words buzz around Nino's mind long after they've both hung up. He thinks about them while he re-heats dinner, when he's halfway through a boss-fight and even when Aiba calls to ask him if he wants to go drinking with him and Jun after the shoot tomorrow night.
"Can't." Nino cuts Aiba off, fiddling with the controls on his DS. "Captain and I are going on a date."
"Oh!" Aiba sounds impressed, and he adds, "What are you going to do?"
"I'm not sure." Nino scratches his head, leaning back on the floor against his couch. "Maybe go drinking. I think he said something about a restaurant he wanted me to see."
"So then, Matsujun and I are going on a date, too!" Aiba sounds thrilled at the prospect. Nino has a brief moment of bliss imagining Jun's expression when Aiba explains this to him.
*
Nino spends exactly thirty-six minutes the next afternoon picking out his outfit, missing three increasingly grumpy calls from his manager and forgetting to eat anything before he leaves for the studio. His stomach growls constantly through the filming and Nino notices Sho eyeing him warily out of the corner of his eye.
Ohno seems half-asleep the entire time and doesn't even properly notice Nino until he walks into the dressing room later, stopping in the doorway and blinking at Nino's neat slacks and the soft blazer over the crisp white dress shirt. "You look nice today."
Nino blushes - he doesn't mean to and he ducks his head under a table to pretend to search for his bag until he can feel the heat draining from his cheeks and ears, until Ohno's footsteps are across the room and his slow, intense gaze isn't settled on Nino anymore.
"Are you ready to go?" he asks finally, when he emerges. Ohno beams and offers him his hand, and they walk out together.
*
Nino likes to think of these times as 'dates' in those secret, squished-up parts of his mind that get all shivery when Ohno smiles at him brightly over his water glass. They steal forkfuls of pasta off each other's plates and talk loudly, laugh until nearby tables glance at them, amused.
It's probably weird and a little bit wrong to think like that, to put his own twist on Ohno's actions and words until they become what Nino wants to believe, but it's these little shreds of pretend-this-can-be that sometimes keep him from completely driving himself over the edge.
If he can't quite reconcile reality and impossibility in his heart and his mind - well, that's just a bit difficult when Ohno feeds him forkfuls of fettucine alfredo off his own plate, when the back of their hands brush while they stroll lazily down the dark sidewalk, when Ohno smiles at Nino like he's waiting, like he's happy here.
*
"I had fun," Ohno tells him, a little tipsy and smiling like a lunatic, leaning all of his weight on Nino's shoulder as Nino helps him up the steps to his home. Ohno's mother has helpfully left the front light on. "We should go out more often."
"Sure." Nino tightens his grip on Ohno's waist. He can't help but feel a little dismayed, because this is the point where pretending falls apart and it's always a little harder to let go than he anticipated. "We will, Oh-chan."
Ohno beams at him, leaning up to kiss the tip of Nino's nose. Nino's eyes widen, his hand slipping off Ohno's waist. He stands in shock on the doorstep, barely registering Ohno's cheerful "Good night!" as Ohno fumbles with the front door's lock and then closes the door behind him, leaving Nino staring after him in utter shock.
*
"This," Jun grouses from where he and Aiba are huddled in the bushes just beside Ohno's driveway, "Was not exactly what I had in mind when you said 'a relaxing evening out'."
"They kissed, Matsujun!" Aiba is shaking with so much excitement that Jun has to thwap him on the head so Nino doesn't notice that the Ohno family's shrubbery has apparently come to life (not that he likely would, as he had already spent over two full minutes staring silently at Ohno's front door like it held the secrets of the universe). "That means that it was definitely a date!"
"Yes, fine. Kissing." Jun was just about ready to give up on the entire damn evening. He should have known better, when he saw the sparkle in Aiba's eye earlier when he had hushed Jun and dragged him after Ohno and Nino on what he called "Operation LOVE LOVE Super Date Surveillance Mission!".
"Kissing definitely makes it a date." Aiba sounds thoughtful, and maybe Jun is tired, but he once again fails to realize the warning signs, and before he knows it, Aiba's hand is gripping his arm, a little tightly, his palm sweaty. Jun closes his eyes in resignation, eyelashes fluttering slightly at the barest touch of Aiba's lips to his.
It's not like he wants to do this, exactly. Kissing Aiba. But there are worse things he can think of - particularly, Nino witnessing him kissing Aiba.
And so Jun stays quiet and holds on tightly, ignoring the branches that scratch at his face and trying to pretend that his heart doesn't almost skip a beat when Aiba pulls back, smiling softly and warmly.

"Sakurai-san, lately we've heard that Ohno-san and Ninomiya-san have been dating." Mariko-san's voice is hushed and curious. Sho feels Nino goes stiff and silent beside him as she changes the topic. "What has this meant for Arashi as a group?"
"Ah, well." Sho casts around for an appropriate way of putting it. "They're just kidding around, you see. They're not actually dating."
"But they said they were." Mariko-san looks confused.
"It's just a joke," Sho repeats. He's starting to sweat. Part of him wishes that Ohno or Nino would break in and straighten things out.
Except they *wouldn't*. Nino would probably confirm their engagement on national television and think it was hilarious.
Ohno would probably just mutter something about sizzling kisses.
"They've - you know, done this forever. Hold hands. Pretend to make out on stage. Whatever. They just...they've always done it."
"It's disgusting," Jun adds, haughtily and somewhat unconvincingly.
"So they're just playing around, then." Tamori-san actually looks disappointed, but Sho could never tell with the sunglasses.
"Yes." Sho says, feeling a bit relieved. "Yes, they are."
"Because Captain is always up for anything, ne." Nino breaks in, grinning cheekily at the camera. Sho smiles straight ahead and pretends not to notice Nino's hand slipping onto Leader's ass.
tiny bonus aiba/jun sidestory in the comments! ♥
