Repeat after me: don't be pushed over
I have applied for quite a few jobs via the internet over the past few days.
Several bartending / serving jobs, several spa reception jobs, one lifeguarding job, and of course the strange-fated modelling thing (I think I was delusional, and so were they). Most of this research has been done at the job I currently hold, as office beotch.
In the course of a half hour today -- after days of no responses (except, again, for the model thing) -- I got three calls requesting three interviews.
Interviews:
1. Server / bartender at a private golf club. (This would go until November, but would be PERFECT for references and experience plus I would have time to study for exams).
2. Lifeguard at a hotel.
3. Spa receptionist.
I don't even know what to choose.
But I do know that I have three interviews in the next two days. On top of a dentist appointment. So maybe the two interviews following the appointment will go well because of my great dental hygiene.
Factors that will affect my decision:
1. If they offer me the job. Because an interview doesn't guarantee a job.
2. What they will pay me. Because really, I'm comparing.
3. General environment.
4. Possibly the attire.
Factors that will not affect my decision:
1. The number of cute boys at any of the above institutions. This is because I have a stellar boyfriend who makes me swoon. He has some mad guitar skills.
Things to do in the meantime:
1. Get smart-serve certified STAT.

I am not phoning them back.
