Maybe it's NOT a cold...

The common symptoms of the flu include:

* Fever (usually high) -- not sure
* Headache -- yes, on Friday
* Muscle aches -- yes
* Chills -- yes
* Extreme tiredness -- Friday (got up at 11, slept from 1:30 to 5, went to bed at 11)
* Dry cough -- from the nose nastiness
* Runny nose may also occur but is more common in children than adults -- runny nose, yes
* Stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, may also occur but are more common in children than adults -- no.

You don’t need to experience all of these symptoms to have the flu. If you have one or two, it's recommended that you see your doctor. We've prepared a list of helpful questions to ask your doctor to help you make the most of your visit.

NOELLE'S NOTE: I'm still glad I didn't get the flu shot. I would rather have my body rough it out than be given last year's virus.
And side note to my note: when is the cutoff date for LAST YEAR? The calendar year? What, suddenly the January 1, 2007 virus is different from the December 31, 2006 virus? I just think we live in a world of (mainly obese) hypochondriacs. I read on MSNBC that by 2040, approximately 75% of Americans will be obese. WHAT! That is insanity!!! And the worst part is, there is a cure for lard. It's called a healthy lifestyle. We all know this, and yet we continue to stuff ourselves with overprocessed food (if you can even call it that). And the most action most people get (in terms of physical activity) is their fingers on a keyboard or a joystick (and not the kind of joystick that burns calories, if you know what I mean).
Oh gosh, what a bunch of tangents. If you're a non-nympho, I apologize for the last reference to joysticks.
I blame it on the chills.
Sudden erratic movement causes my brain to suddenly shift gears.
