Okay, I'm hooked. Now you need to finish it. Lot's of questions such as:

What event or events have happened to Laura that makes her become so introspective?

I know it may be the dissolving of a marriage, but why now?

Writing about Laura's past should give us a glimpse into her psyche, and why she's in the situation she's in.

Have you seen Paul Mazursky's "An Unmarried Women" with Jill Clayburgh?

Ok, I'll keep going then-- you know, all the questions can't be answered at once... I'm sure the glimpses of her past will continue to peek out from under her daily events...

mmmm, I had similar experiences. Except college for me was an opportunity to join with fellow type AAAs to work on projects - which I never had access to in high school. I was more ambivalent about partying. That was Florida - easy drugs, easy alcohol. But in college there was nothing like a good alcohol fest at the end of a task.
