so i'm new and all that jazz :) my name is najia and i write. more specifically, i write songs and stuff...well, as many of the things i write haven't been put to music yet, let's call it poetry. anyway. i've been looking for people who will give me honest and blunt opinions on my writing, so i hope you folks will be able to do just that. i've had mad writers block for the past few months, but the other night i actually did sit down and write something, so that's what i'll share. :)

The Thousandth Sun:

Well the truth's out in the open
Our saving graces can't save us now
I've watched you unwinding
but I thought you were better off undone

You'll erase my face
I'll wipe my existence clean of this

In an effort to get you off my lips

All I see now is all I'll ever need

Your face in every picture that I see
