i love not working
mondays off kick ass.
i love days when i have the pleasure of seeing four lj friends (well five if you consider my mr. waxfruit) in one day.
i woke up around nine, had a nice long shower and then met wright and resurgam at the moma around eleven. it was freezing and totally crowded with crazy tourists but we did get to appreciate some art and have nice conversation (which is the real reason i hang out with those two anyway!).
then we walked west and had yummy thai food and talked some more. it was sad seeing resurgam off to the train at penn station. i wish she lived closer.
anyway, i went home to billy styles and bought a really nice faux fur coat that's super-warm and has great buttons. it was 30 bucks. i'm glad i resisted the temptation of more expensive coats last week. it was worth being cold! i went home with my booty, had a bagel with some homemade resurgam jam and sewed a whole bunch of stuff.
then around 9:30 i went out again to meet wax_lips for some burlesque at galapagos in williamsburg. our friend was debuting her burlesque identity. unfortunately she lost her keys and never made it. then ny sea showed uo and we just talked and had fun and watched scotty the blue bunny and he was so cute and tall and snarky.
i just love my lady friends! there is nothing in the world more gratifying than ladies you can say absolutely anything to.
