happy tofurkey day
i hope everyone (who lives in the states) is having a nice holiday.
mr. waxfruit and i took the train out to connecticut last night and had a nice dinner with my parents. we were going to go out and partake in the craziness that is "the busiest bar night of the year" but then my mom found a big box of old pictures and we were distracted for hours.
today we went up to my grandparents house and took a really long walk and hung out with the family. then we went to my step-grandparent's house for desert. we're going to try to go out and do something tonight. i feel like i never, ever see my connecticut friend's anymore, almost to the point that they're not really even my friends. not like they keep in touch either (not you betsey).
mr. waxfruit and i both have to work tomorrow so we can't party it up too much but i want to do something!
