i had the same inkling of worry for a moment, but no, he's fine. this isn't the first time that he's eaten a large quantity of my apple pie--he's a "fan"... lots of sugar energy, but really none the worse for it.

I know! It was beautiful. I've never done a woven lattice top on a pie.

my apple pie is probably the most labor-intensive one. all that apple peeling and caramel making and lattice weaving.
