dark tower

on this fine day i ventured within the cafeteria walls for lunch. i have to admit the food sucked, but i got to hang out with my friends, and spent some time talking to laura and her friends mel and di. they seem to not like me too well, but hey, that seems to be my first impression on just about everyone. two grand events unfolded before me on this day.

A) i walked into waldenbooks on accident, and was surprised to see the dark tower vii sitting there, waiting for me to purchase it. 35 dollars down the drain. but this drain leads to a water treatment plant of discovery and entertainment of my mind.

B) i opened my mailbox. instantly, a glowing light was emitted from deep inside. i reached my hand in, and lo and behold, there, lying on top of 100 college letters addressed to me, was my package. this is not just any package. within this package there lay two beautiful dvds. battle royale and battle royale 2, in my hands. japanese import editions. my. god. im invincible. thank you Kinji Fukasaku, and im sorry that you had to die from prostate cancer, because i was really looking forward to battle royale 3.

well, im about to go do some homework and then im feeling like doing something artistic. my cell is on (451-0110) and you all know how much i love the calls.

Not hear? When noise was everywhere! it tolled
Increasing like a bell. Names in my ears
Of all the lost adventurers, my peers -
How such a one was strong, and such was bold,
And such was fortunate, yet each of old
Lost, lost! one moment knelled the woe of years.

There they stood, ranged along the hillsides, met
To view the last of me, a living frame
For one more picture! In a sheet of flame
I saw them and I knew them all. And yet
Dauntless the slug-horn to my lips I set,
And blew. 'Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came.'
