Morning to all... well, it's still morning here for a few more minutes.
1. Some recs:

The Last Day. (Harry, gen, PG). This is really lovely series of 7 drabble-length narratives. She uses the framing device of Harry's last day of school to give a comprehensive look at how his feelings, thoughts, and life, generally, changed throughout his time at Hogwarts. I think it's probably a gen piece... maybe a pre-slash or pre-friendship Harry/Draco, at most. Very lovely and strikingly precise with an absolute economy of words.
vulgarweed wrote and
quantum_witch illustrated
The Phoenix and the Turtle. (Aziraphale/Crowley, NC-17). This is a fantastic read! This is the first installment of three of a beautiful historically rich tale of our favorite angel and demon. Now, the European (and Eastern European) history buffs are going to love this. I am neither, and I love it, too. Though it is certainly not necessary for enjoyment purposes, I looked up the historical references on google just because I didn't want to miss anything. The story is that good! Q_W's illustrations are wonderful, too. She really knows how to convey the passion between Aziraphale and Crowley and does exceptional justice to Vulgarweed's story.
2. Movies...
Underworld: Evolution. A Guilty Pleasure... and not much more!
The Island. Not a bad action movie... and definitely has an interesting take on cloning, eugenics, and definitions of humanity.
3. Have you taken the
Astrology, You & Fandom Poll? Are there truly no Pisces or Aquarians out there?
4.
taigan23 and I are in the midst of co-writing! I think it's going pretty well -- and I'm definitely excited to see how this thing will play out!
5. Lastly, there are a number of you who are in my thoughts for one reason or another. I do wish you well... and I hope that things will go as smoothly as possible for you in the near future.
