Details on Japan trip
So I'm leaving the 20th is all goes well. That means if I get my passport on the 19th. Let's hope this works because there are no refunds for my $1000 ticket and I wanna leave this place. There are a few details about the trip, however, that I'm not really looking forward too.
The first plane is going to last 11 hours, then I'm going to have to wait at the airport in Osaka for 16 hours for the airplane heading to Okinawa to arrive. It's a two-day plane ride and I don't even have an iPod. I'm not even sure if I'm comfortable with doing all this hoopla alone. I guess I'll just suck it up.
I requested a window seat and vegetarian/non-dairy meals.
I should be heading back on August 10th. That's like, 20 days or so. I hope it's not one of those trips that drag on because you end up being bored.
And then when I get back I think I'm leaving to Washington to visit a cousin and her warmongering husband. I'm going to appreciate my home after these trips and hate traveling. Hah...not! That was gay.
Bakersfield should be cold, as in it's preferred.
I already have a livejournal account that I'm going to see if I can write in daily about the trip. I don't really know my grandpa too well so I'm not sure if he's pissy about people messing with his computer and junk. Last I remember he was a careless old man that always seemed to be drunk. He was still cool though.
