Summary: A moment by the sea.
The white foam of the briny waves tumbled over Percy’s bare feet. He gave a sigh, letting the months of worry and obligation slip slowly away. Lost in the moment, Percy didn’t hear Hermione’s labored steps through the dense sand behind.
Sent by Molly to get her son for supper, Hermione instead paused to watch Percy looking toward the horizon. Forgetting her task, Hermione stood next to him, enjoying the waves tickling her toes.
Noticing his wife, Percy wrapped his arm around her shoulders and smiled down at her.
The only sound was the ebb and flow of the sea.

“Uh, what’s wrong, Lavender?”

Crouching, Percy gently urged, “Why don’t you tell me all about it?”
