“Would you like to dance?”

Charlie peered with bleary eyes at the diminutive figure standing before him. It was early in the morning - far too early, it wasn’t even dawn -and he was hung over from indulging himself at his big brother’s wedding the night before. He grunted, trying to pull himself up, small hands tugging on his arms.

Accomplishing one feat, he set out to figure who had stayed behind after the chaos of Kingsley’s warning. “Who’re you?”

“Luna Lovegood.”

“One of Ronnie’s friends, right?”

“Yes.”

“What’re ya doin’ here still?”

“Helping your mother clean up.”

“And you want to dance?”

“Yes. Exercise gets the blood flowing. You’ll feel better.”

“Doubt it.” Nevertheless, Charlie lurched to his feet, his head spinning like a merry-go-round. He mumbled, “Highly doubt it.”

“Nonsense. Just move your feet.” Luna led him around the yard, careful not to move too suddenly or spin him around.

It took some time, but Charlie eventually able to see clearly enough to make out the bright face below him. “Feelin’ a bit better.”

“Good.”

“Why’re ya doin’ this ‘gain?”

“I’m helping your mother clean up.”

“Twins.”

“Indeed.”

“We’ll lose our distinctiveness with another set.”

“Don’t worry, Freddie, we’ll always be unique.”

“But of course.” George grinned cheekily at his brother. Any other pair of twins would have a great deal of difficulty trying to be as well-liked, humorous, and good-looking as the two of them.

“What’s her name?” asked Fred leaning in.

“The one on the stool is Parvati.”

“Hope she’s in Gryffindor.”

“That would be convenient,” George smirked. “Think they’ll go out with us in a few years?”

“How could they resist?”

The Sorting Hat called out “Gryffindor!” Fred and George cheered as loudly as the rest of the table.

As Parvati shyly ran down to her new House, Fred gave her a quick wink.

“Her sister’s next.”

“Which one do you fancy?” asked Fred.

“Hard to say right now… let’s get to know them a bit first before we divvy them up.”

“Well, I’m picking Parvati.”

“What’s the rush?” As the two discussed the possibilities, they all missed the loud shout of “Ravenclaw!” from the Sorting Hat.

“What!?”

“What is that - I don’t even - ” Fred felt a little betrayed at the failing of twinship.

“Relax, Fred.”

“Well, I called Parvati… so you get the ‘Claw.”

George considered arguing, but felt the whole situation was a bit silly. Instead, he winked at Padma as she ran shyly down to her new House.

Title: Coffee, Tea, or Me? (Thank you, George of the Jungle)
Characters: Cedric/Pansy
Prompt:  078. Lemon at 100_women : my table
For:  hp pairings
Rating: G
Genre: Drama
Warnings: none
Word Count: 100
Summary: Cedric has Pansy over for tea. Not on purpose.
Notes: What a cute pairing! Why have I never thought of this before!?
Disclaimer: Characters do not belong to me and I make no money off of them, etc.

“How do you take your tea?” Cedric was feeling more than a little awkward, which was unusual for him. His mother had asked the Parkinson mother and daughter over for tea, but when they arrived the mothers had suddenly disappeared.

“Four lumps of sugar and plenty of milk.”

Cedric blinked. He had not expected Pansy of all people to drink her tea so sweet. Adding the sugar and milk, he tried to keep a straight face.

Pansy noticed and snapped, “I like it sweet, all right!? How do you take it - with honey and buttercups and rainbows?”

“With lemon.”

“Oh.”
