today's misadventure
I saw Leap Year and it was super cute. I'm not a huge chick-flick fan, but I liked this one. It further solidified the Irish accent as second place in my favorite sexy accents list. (Scottish is first, and Irish recently pulled ahead of Australian after I saw Boondock Saints for the first time.) It's a simple formula of girl gets herself lost, boy unwillingly helps her out, hijinks ensue, they fall in love, and *SPOILER* live happily ever after. Good times. The scenes of the Irish countryside is well worth the ₩9,000 ($8.00).
Funny story. So I went to the ATM. After I punched in my pin I hit the enter button twice on accident and it hit the button on the next screen, which I thought said ₩60,000 ($53.00) which was close to how much I wanted to take out anyways, so I didn't cancel it and start over. However, it was actually ₩600,000 (or $530.00) and that all came out of the machine which is only in ₩10,000 notes so I got 60. Waaaaaaaaaay more than I wanted. Hopefully it will last until I go home.
However, I was feeling really uncomfortable with that much money in my purse (I could just see myself getting pickpocketed the one time I have that much cash on me!) My wallet wouldn't even close all the way. So I went to the bathroom, took most of the cash, divided it in half, and stuffed both down my bra. LOL. It actually worked pretty well. I felt better knowing that it was highly unlikely that anyone was going to be able to get the cash off me now!!
I made it safely home after I finished shopping. I got some cute stuff too!
