So, I'm watching a Roswell marathon on Sci-Fi, and the thought struck me: what ever happened to all of these actors? Almost all of them have disappeared off the face of the television earth. Except Katherine Heigl. She's on Gray's Anatomy on ABC. Okay, this is going to turn very Lone Gunmen, very fast; bare with me.
ABC is owned by Disney. Disney runs the Disney Channel and often uses it to field young actors. Young actors like Hillary Duff, Lindsey Lohan (Get A Clue, Life SIze), and Katherine Heigl. She was in Wish Upon a Star on the Disney Channel. Now she's the only hollywood survivor of Roswell because she's on an ABC show.
In short, Disney's like the Mafia: they take care of their own, and once you're in, you're in for life. Just ask Hayley Mills. It's Disney or nothing. You stay within the family.
