all in the timing

It's been a tough week and a half.  I felt like I was stuck in the fog of routine and isolation and the cold.  Not even my feel-good dvds were helping.  It was kind of scary because I thought I may have been depressed. But now, I've emerged from the fog, and I am starting to let things go more.  I was being really uptight about grades and college and everything, but now I think I'm employing the karma-yoga and doing the act for the joy of acting without harping on the consequences (yay hinduism and the gita!).

Speaking of, I'm thinking I might major in religious studies, focusing on Hinduism and Buddhism.  Discussing theology and eeking out the conflicts inherent in religious doctrine gives me a geek high.  I might double major with english or history or minor in one of the above.  I don't really know.  But hinduism and buddhism have piqued my interest.  We'll see.

Things are finally coming together for London and Russia, so I'm super excited about that.  I'll probably buy my plane tickets within the next week or so, and I've already bought a London map book and travel guide and will buy one for Moscow/St. Petersburg soon.  Looking forward to that, Walter's visit Saturday, David Ives' lecture on Sunday (yeah, you heard me . . . Liz), seeing Liz next Friday (!!!!) and finally meeting John Quinn face-to-face, and going home next Saturday and Sunday!   Lots to look forward to!!!!

Now I just need to write my two papers this weekend.  Fuuuuuun.
