I am very uspet with Isaac Hayes right now. very upset. dude was okay with cripple fights but not this? and it took him 2 months to figure out that he was offended?

Citing Religion, Isaac Hayes Is Leaving 'South Park'
In nine years of playing Chef on "South Park," Isaac Hayes has countenanced vicious ridicule of Mormons, Jesus, the Roman Catholic Church, gays and even "gingers" - pale children with red hair and freckles. But Mr. Hayes has requested to be released from his contract because recent episodes have gone too far in their treatment of religion, he said in a brief statement yesterday. "There is a place in this world for satire," Mr. Hayes, 63, said, "but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins." He added: "Religious beliefs are sacred to people, and at all times should be respected and honored. As a civil rights activist of the past 40 years, I cannot support a show that disrespects those beliefs and practices." Matt Stone, a creator of "South Park," said in a statement yesterday afternoon that "This has nothing to do with intolerance and bigotry and everything to do with the fact that Isaac Hayes is a Scientologist and that we recently featured Scientology in an episode." He added, "He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show." Mr. Stone said that Mr. Hayes would be released from his contract.
