Rar. Honestly it is horrifying, no matter what the fuck your sexuality is, there is no reason to persecute people that much for it. It's one thing to dislike or hate, it's another to so blatently pursue and threaten. It scares the shit out of me that there are people like that out in the world, and that they are so blindsided by something so FUCKING insignificant in the big scheme of things. Not to mention, they find it fun just to terrorize a minority that did nothing to them, wants nothing from them, and really doesn't involve them in any way. And it's all in the name of "god". Fuck god. There's no way he would send people to persecute others. That's like the Southerners who used the Bible to justify slavery or the Crusaders who killed for the Holy Land. Is it holy because there was thousands of peoples' blood shed ON IT? It's depressed. Really really depressing.
Oh, and you think America is shitty? We definately are behind Spain (who legalized gay marriage last year)... but there really are countries where it is legal to kill people for homosexuality. Or to kill women who are raped just b/c they are "unclean"... in the name of fucking religion. Rar.
