i think my show went really well! people seemed to like girlfren' and that made me really happy. i realized once we were done playing that our songs are all 30 seconds long at the most. i kinda like it that way. tyler and dani came down to see it and that was awesome.
travis and i didnt have our shit together as usual so the fake blood set was pretty sloppy but whatever.
hexlust was really really awesome. i didnt know what to expect, but i ended up liking it a lot.
boogdish as a full band was really good too!
overall it was a really fun show, lots of pizza was consumed and somehow i managed to scrounge up a decent amount of money for hexlust and boogdish.
theres a small chance girlfren' might get to play at girls rock camp and im really excited about the idea of playing to a bunch of young girls starting their own bands.
the potential johns show was fun too. i actually talked to people and everything. i think im finally starting to make friends in this town.
last night i saw andrew wk and it was SO TIGHT. i did so much fist pumping my arms hurt today. before the show even started travis snapped his glasses in half and i had to lead him home while he pushed his moped, mostly uphill all the way home. i didnt realize how blind he was until i had to tell him where curbs are and warn him of all the uneven sidewalks. its scary. im glad i have decent vision.
i made a dress entirely out of fake fur!! i look like a gorilla in it.
