for someone so concerned with social justice, poverty, and the like, a certain unnamed professor certainly ruined my day by requiring five NEW books, totaling well over a hundred bucks. i just keep trying to remind myself that this class will be awesome and completely worth it. because it will. but damn.
i used to have a bit of a problem spending money, but being really poor has changed that. now, even though i have well over three grand in my bank account, it's making me nearly sick to think about buying dinner tonight.
