So yesterday as i was walking out of the diner, i saw chalk on the ground. "Want to meet other Christians? Come to..." So I went. As I was walking in, I saw a sign that said "Evangelical" something or another, which flipped me out, because i'm one of the most laid back christian kids around, and evangelicals, well, aren't. Stereotypically, of course.
Anyway, I went in anyway. And WHOA. Thank goodness I did.
The preacher and his wife are seriously the coolest people ever. (He was making dirty jokes during the sermon, for goodness sake!) And afterwards, a bunch of the students invited me out to dinner with them, and we hung out for HOURS. Just talking, and it felt SO good to be included in something! I even got invited to a party on Thursday. (No, not like that, we're playing taboo and watching the apprentice. It's a church group!) One guy's even going to pick me up.
I have friends.
Wow.
PS - I added architecture, now i have to decide whether or not to drop theater. If I stick with it though...no more humanities, ever. Just econ and business and stats classes. I will officially have 2 years worth of classes to go.
