It's TODAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! OMFG YAAAAAAAAY! (Excuse the fangirliness)...

The day i finally get to see my most favourite band in the entire world - The Police - live has arrived (ooh, semi-rhyme there)!!

Only sad thing is that my Dad who absolutely loves them can't come :-( He's still in hospital, unfortunately, still recovering; he's been looking forward to this for over a year, since we first heard rumours that the band were getting back together for a tour. Such a shame. Still, shall have to take lots of pictures/video and ring him from the gig to make him feel like he was there! Will still feel strange with him missing, though. Never mind... have booked tickets for the last UK date on 20th October @ Wembley Arena (went on sale yesterday morning - got block B2, which is quite good), so at least Dad will get a chance to see them before they wrap up the entire tour altogether. Will be a nice belated birthday present for him too, (his birthday is on the 9th Oct).

Work has been VERY boring this week, my God. So much pressure, so much stress... it's amazing how much of a mess it is in the administrative/admissions department.. some people have already enrolled yet L asked me to ring them up again and check *rolls eyes*, some people didn't receive any communication after their interviews so were unsure if they'd got in or not, some people have changed their minds about the course they want to do.. so on and so forth.. arghhhhhhhh!! I have a new found respect for my mum working in that place, now. People are seriously always on the go in there.

Stupidly I've agreed to work next week as G said she needed me to do something else for her... but I had planned on going to see Laura in Bournemouth for the week :-( we were going to chill out and bake and do fun things... really disappointed, but i suppose I can't let the college down after they've been great with employing and paying me money which i so desperately need!

The song I'm listening to is rather appropriate for this situation, isn't it(!)

C also asked me to work for the graduation event in November after all *roll eyes*, that's about six to eight weeks' worth of work, which will keep me busy whilst I'm looking for a *real* permanent job. Gives me time to get my parents off my back. I feel so annoyed, still.. for the fact they messed me around a few weeks ago and said they didn't need me anymore and *now* they do. Typical.. oh well, shall have to think about it this weekend.

But not tomorrow, oh no. Best day of my life? It's a very likely contender.

:D :D :D :D

*skips off to bed full of utter joy and glee*

Bit of a short entry compared to usual tonight, but I have to get to bed, 'cos it's an early start tomorrow........ trying to decide which pair of knickers (unworn of course) to throw at Sting! (only jokingggggg, am tempted to really do something of the sort though... hmmm)...

laura, the best day of my life ever (maybe?), fangirlish glee, the police concert, wembley arena, twickenham stadium, dad, work
