(no subject)
I woke up this morning at 0645.. I didn't have to, I have liberty today, but it just happened. Oh well. I used my time appropriately and ironed 3 sets of utilities and my whites that I'm wearing right now. I also cleaned my room and did some sit ups and push ups and took a shower. Then I sat around until Brodie woke up. I went with Vargas and Brodie to chow, it wasn't all that great. Now we're at Portside on the internet. I just can't wait till my A school starts.. or until I get to at least phase 2 so I can wear my civies. I need to save up some money so I can get a laptop or something. I've been buying a lot, but there's a lot I need, it's not like I've been frivilously spending my money. Oh well. Next weekend I'm gonna go out and get a cell phone set up. I was going to do that this weekend, but I'm not sure if I can go off base or not, so I'm not going to chance it. Everything is going pretty smoothly so far. The Marines all over the base are catching my interest. They all seem to be hot, and they're really nice. All you have to do is start talking to them and you'll have a good conversation going. Sadly I can't say the same about the Air Force people. It's not due to lack of trying, because I've attempted to initiate conversation and they look at me weird, force a greeting and move on their way. I don't know.. maybe it's because there's so few of them. I wonder if I can buy BDU's just for the hell of it. Hm. I know I can't wear them, at least not as the uniform of the day, but I just want some. I feel so stupid walking around the base with the Marines in their desert camis and the Air Force in their BDUs and heres the Navy in their ugly utilities (i hate the utilities) that's cool, soon enough we'll be getting digi cams, beat that fuckers, lol. OK, well, I'm out for now.
