- Re: Zombie - It was funny, and clearly a joke on all the rumors of supernatural characters, and a good way to get Sandman to do something. It was still a waste of perfectly good TV time. - I'm willing to give the show a pass on the WWE involvement because it was the first show after an interbrand PPV. If this continues beyond Vengeance I will be sorely unhappy. - The exhibitionist girl was a waste of time. And she was on there waaaaay too much. - I don't even know who to root for anymore, other than ECW out of principle. But I like Cena, too. - Angle is pretty much the greatest wrestler working right now and he's a great fit for ECW. Not happy with how they used him in the first show (did he REALLY need to call Orton out? Again?) - Tazz v. Lawler was a joke, but it was sort of meant to be. Could have stood to see them put on a nice old-school match, though. - GOD I missed Roadkill. Him and Doring better be up to fighting speed, because I loved that team. - Big Show is being used as an unstoppable force of nature. That's cool with me, as long as we get some classic matches (I'm thinking something along the lines of Tanaka v. Awesome from last year's ONS in terms of length and epicosity) to showcase him in. - Sabu vs. John Cena again?...Well, alright. Gotta give Cena credit, at least he's willing to work in the more high-impact ECW style. And the thing with the crowd throwing his shirt back at One Night Stand...HILARIOUS. - I totally can't wait for the Highlanders, being part Scotsman myself. They give me a nice Bushwhackers vibe, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. - FBI is going to be great. - Right now I think they're still caught up in the ECW "reunion" phase to really worry about faces and heels in the company. I'll give that one time too. - Damn it all, this show needs to be at least two hours long. Or at least have the same pacing that the TNN one had. Sure, it was a lousy network, but at least they'd have fifteen minute or half-hour matches. - The Battle Royale was a little ridiculous, I was hoping for a really good one-on-one match or tag-team bout that would show off what ECW is really all about. - Vampires. Why the hell not? The Brood was one of the last times Edge was tolerable (the other being the "Five Second Pose" phase). - I'm surprised Terry Funk isn't in a wheelchair. - I liked the old intro they had on TNN better than the Drowning Pool-drenched one they've got now. And I kind of miss the underground fight club vibe that it had before - the giant screen by the entrance takes away from it. - Overall, this is pretty much clearly Vince McMahon's ECW. And there's nothing wrong with Vince McMahon. But there is something wrong with his version of ECW. My hope is that as time goes on and it distances itself more from WWE, we'll get a more pure form of the promotion. Until then, I don't know if I'll go out of my way to watch it every week. I'd have to go with a two out of five myself.
