1. "As" by George Michael and Mary J. Blige
One of the best songs ever written and these two superb artists made sure they did not make a mess out of a Stevie Wonder gem. "Did you know that true love asks for nothing?" never gets old.

2. "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk
My wedding song, if it happens. HA!

3. "All I Need" by Radiohead
They are either superhumans or aliens. These "freaks" just keep on getting better and better with every album. If I will be stranded in an island and can bring only one CD, it will be "In Rainbows". (Unless they make a new one.) There's a line in the song that goes:"I only stick with you, because there are no other." Who knew Thom Yorke could be this romantic?

4. "Before Today" by EBTG
Tracey Thorn wants you. Like NOW.

5. "If You See Her, Say Hello" by Bob Dylan
Again an ode for the one that got away. Seriously heartbreaking.

6. "For No One" by The Beatles
The Beatles giving a nod to girl power when she finally gets over the douchebag.

7. "All I Need" by Air
I've never really heard anything like it. One of the best stuff to listen to when traveling on a plane.

8. "Tear In Your Hand" by Tori Amos
The song that makes we want to sob non stop. (And I never cry.) "Maybe she's just pieces of me you've never seen well" kills me everytime.

9. "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle
During the dark patch, this was on repeat mode. Sometimes it's all about the chase but it does get tiring after a while.

10. "Ragoo" by Kings of Leon
Yes, I'm one of them. Though I just discovered them recently, I'm glad I did catch up and there are days I could not listen to anything except their four albums. It's all about Caleb Followil's raw and organic voice, otherwise they could be just any other band out there. Together with his brothers Nathan and Jared and their cousin, Matthew, these testosterone-hyper, shamesless porn-loving guys just love to talk about sex in their songs. Typical boys but overqualified to just perform in family reunions. Jonas Brothers are you listening?

11. "24" by Wolfgang
I think I took quarter-life crisis too seriously. I discovered Wolfgang when I was 24 (coincidence?) and they could not have come at a better time. I was confused, angry and completely angsty. And then I became friends with an A&R person from Sony. Got invited to the band's gigs, made a fansite, became an official photographer in one of their Music Museum concerts. It was my "Almost Famous" experience. More than the showbiz aspect though, discovering cool musicians and gaining great friends were the real blessings from that phase of my life. Good times.

12. "This is Love" by PJ Harvey
One of my heroes. And this an actual happy song, or at least it sounds like one.

13. "Tell Me" by Groove Theory
This is a far stretch for me because I'm not really into R&B, but I gues there's always an exception. Amel Larrieux is dope y'all!

14. "Electrical Storm" by U2
Most of U2's songs are meant to be played in big arenas, so it's a nice surprise when they come up with songs like this.

15. "Light Years" by Pearl Jam
I love that Eddie Vedder and his crew are just going with the flow as their songs mature with them. I respect them more than ever.

16. "Tomorrow Knows" by Brainsalad
Basti Artadi + Rhada = one heck of a song. I also love it that you get to hear him on your left headphone and Rhada on the other. This guy knows sadness more than he's willing to admit.

17. "Song for Holly" by Esthero
You can actually get high from a song.

18. "Glory Box" by Portishead
She may look androgynous, but she's all woman. One of the bands who perform better live.

19. "For All Time" by Michael Jackson
The man is a genius despite the wacko tendencies.

20. "Milkshake" by Kelis
I know pop, too.

21. "Cross Your Fingers" by Laura Marling
The original rad. The only teen musician that matters in my book.

22. "River" by Joni Mitchell
Just because it's Joni.

23. "Sometimes" by Ash
Pure and simple: sometimes feelings die.

24. "First Taste" by Fiona Apple
Fiona is mostly known for being the angry strange girl, but she can be amusing (and naughty) too. :)

25. "On Your Side" by Pete Yorn
"MusicfortheMorningAfter" is one the best albums you've never heard. Yet.

26. "I've Been Lost" by PlusMinus
With Fil-Am members, they made this indietronic (come again?) song that is loud in the right places.

27. "The World Is Our Playground And We Will Always Be Home" by UpDharmaDown
An OPM band that writes their songs and Armi sure can sing.

28. "Televators" by Mars Volta
If you get into a crazy person's mind, this may be playing in there.

29. "Gone to the Movies" by Semisonic
The swimming music.

30. "Everything in Its Right Place" by Radiohead
This was playing in the in "Vanilla Sky" when Tom Cruise was driving in the empty streets of New York. Of course it's got to be a dream sequence, cue in a Radiohead song.
