(no subject)
Well, it looks like things weren't quite as they seemed with Sue and the Family yesterday.
I'll say it more bluntly here than on myspace, because the person who caused all the trouble isn't on LJ.
Jim's other best friend Dan, has a girlfriend who seems to like to stir things up so she can be a bit more in control. She was telling Sue things and telling Jim's mom things that weren't true just to manipulate the whole situation to make herself feel needed. They aren't forbidding people to go back and see him, they're just limiting it right now because he REALLY needs his rest. His dad offered to take me back today, but since I seem to be suffering from the plague, I didn't want to risk it.
He had a procedure done today to clear an artery, and he's suffering from an influenza sparked pneumonia, but he's holding his own. (That's my boy!!) They are apparently vibrating his bed a bit to break up the crap in his chest and then draining it out. They've also taken the sand bags off his chest. There is still a tiny chance they can save his right arm, but unfortunately that's not really a top priority at the moment. Sue is going to keep Dan and I informed, and he and I will do our best to pass along the information.
I won't argue if you want to keep him in your prayers though...I'm being a bit selfish and refusing to let a best friend go.
And as soon as he's better...I'm kicking his ass for what he's been doing to himself behind our backs.
