While getting my hair dyed yesterday I was part of an absurd conversation. Stylist A had the hiccups. Stylist B said, “Stay away from me. I don’t want to catch them.” We paused for a moment. Stylist B asked me, “Are hiccups contagious?” I responded, “ah, no.”
