Stephen Jones and his Welsh team-mate Peel are considering talking Welsh to each other throughout the match so that your kiwis cant understand their plans.
Normally it would be on in a Irish pub or something, but they dont tend to open at 8am on a Saturday as far as I am aware. I know for certain it wont be accessable from the TV stations we have at the flat, it might be on SKY, but we dont have that.
So, no, I wont be watching the game. I shall leave you to update me on what happened and remember to watch our guy in the No. 10 shirt.
Maybe you wont hear them talk welsh, I always forget how noisy the stands get. But you might see them talking and the NZ team members looking confused if they hear it.
You should ring an irish pub and ask if they'll be open. Then you can watch for me :P
I bloody well hope our team are focused enough not to care if anyone around them is speaking a funny language. We've played heaps of foreigners so it shouldn't bother them. I on the otherhand will be keeping one and a half ears tuned for sexy foreign accents.
They were focused enough to dislocate the shoulder of our captain I see. I wouldnt have minded so much if they had done it to Johnny Wilkinson, but there's nothing wrong with the irish skipper.
And I notice Jones wasnt allowed to kick penalties even though he had the No. 10 shirt on. Not fair!
Did you notice how Johnny (12) has to take five minutes each time to pray to the gods of penalties before he takes his shot? Stephen Jones bangs it straight through the posts without any bother and the game keeps on going
( ... )
I never said we wasnt tough, I just said we need the cover because the footballers dont like playing on the mud the rugby players create.
Cardiff people have a whole special accent just for themselves. The way that some of them say Cardiff is more like Caerdiff. So you'll be flying out to Cardiff in November will you? See you then, then! :)
I heard he mised a couple of shots, I bet Jones wouldnt have. Jones doesnt often miss the hard shots. He has been known to fluff easy ones, but I think it's because when it's easy he doesnt try as hard. And to be honest I've never had the patience to watch Wilko playing rugby. I cant remember the last time I saw England play Wales on TV, but I think Wilko must have been out on one of his many injuries. I've heard of him praying to the god of penalties and golden boots though.
Yay, 3pm on the 5th, which is a Saturday, which means Uni *shouldnt* be a problem. Just getting to Cardiff from Aber is a problem. To go by train I have to go east into England and then South-West to Cardiff. I reckon the Uni will put a bus on though for all the students going. There ought to be a contingent going. There usually is I reckon.

No. 10 isn't always the main kicker. anyone at 10, 12, 15 etc need to be able to kick with some accuracy to clear the ball.

Cardiff game is November 5th. My new welsh friend said that he always gets two tickets and we're welcome to come with him.
No we don't have covered stadiums. We're tougher than that.
