Just some thoughts on the episode - here be spoilers, natch!
I was over the moon that we got SO much of Watson this time around as it felt like the previous 'historical' eps that featured the Five gave us rather less Watson than anyone else of the Five.
Peter Wingfield looked surprisingly good in that French peasant outfit - and very hot in the uniform (shame it was a Nazi uniform, though!)...
I couldn't help wondering how Druitt's torture of Watson would've affected their ongoing relationship. In Watson's shoes, I wouldn't be in any great hurry to forgive or forget. Druitt would probably brush it off with the question 'What's the odd spot of torture between friends if it achieves the goal?' And, of course, the acknowledgement that Watson and Magnus are an item wouldn't help - Watson might not have told Druitt that he was right about Watson loving Magnus, but I don't doubt it's true. And she called Watson 'Darling'... (I might have to write a tag fic for this episode, though I've never written Sanctuary fic before!)
All in all, a good outing for Dr James Watson - can I have some more please?
(Untagged because there's no 'episode discussion' tag!)
