EXCEPT to say that God has finally cut Pittsburgh some slack.
Tuesday, October 3. JOSH RITTER and JAMIE CULLUM are playing at the freaking Byham Theatre. ACK. $33.
Wednesday, October 4. KT TUNSTALL is at Mr Smalls. $15
Aaaaaaaaand I am going to both. Do my parents know yet? No. Of course not. Does the fact that I've already spent $41.25 on a Nickel Creek ticket deter me? Not in the least. What about the fact that I will be having two awesome nights in the middle of the week in the middle of my first semester of college? YEAH, RIGHT. Thursdays I can sleep in until after lunch, Tuesdays I only have 1 real classes...whatev. I am going going GOING. I can't believe it. This is more fantastic music than Pgh usually sees in a year.
I AM JUST SO HAPPY. and there is no one to tell. It is times like these that I am ever so grateful for livejournal.
But I think I would rather dance around my house screaming at the top of my lungs. But it is 2am, so I will refrain.
