Hello,
Recently when I saw Wicked, after seeing it, we went into a very nice mall, which had the popular american designer clothing labels. We went into Abercrombie and Fitch, to see what they had there. I liked some of their stuff there, but when you look at the prices there, its ridiculus. I saw a nice hoodie, and itwas $69.99. I could get a hoodie that is basically the smae thing, but without Abercrombie written all over it from Old Navy for $29.99. That is 1/3 of the price of Abercrombie's hoodie. What makes these big american retailers have the right to charge enormous amounts of money for 1 article of clothing, just because it has letters of the alphabet arranged in a way that forms a word(s)?
The second thing is, how do people get this money to buy overpriced clothing from these over priced retailers? I mean, some people who I see at school, they own a ton of tna, abercrombie, Aeropostale, uggs (girls only ;P), hollister and any other expensive brand names. With the prices of these clothings, they must have like a $1000 wardrobe!!
Well, that just my personal opinion. I personally don't save up my money to buy expensive brand names, and even if I had to, with my allowance,it would take me a whole year to save for 1 whole shirt from Abercrombie.
As always your opions and comments are welcome.
ttyl!
