another year has passed
I'm really happy that I came home for these past 2 days. I drove home tuesday night and went over to knit club at sweet waters and was greeted by many awesome people. I got to hang out with them for a few hours and it was so great. Then I came home and slept.
I woke up to one of my favorite holidays of the year.
My entire family came over and chaos ensued. It was good chaos though. My huge family all came over to celebrate the 4th of july (like they do every year) and we had a BBQ, hung out, swam, celebrated my birthday, etc etc. I love my extended family so much. They're loud and charismatic and awesome. Plus I got to play with my nephew :-D.
After everyone left around 8pm or so I went over to Alicya's and went to the fireworks with a bunch of people, then we went back and had a bonfire at her house and had hobo pies and smores. Kathleen made me the first hobo pie since it was almost my birthday. Lia was the first one to wish me happy birthday! And everyone else did too. It just made me really happy to be there with everyone, especially because this summer has been so crappy. I haven't felt wanted by hardly anyone back in grand rapids/west michigan. I miss my east side friends so much. They just make me feel like they WANT me there. I feel worth something.
Anyways - now i'm waiting for my dad to wake up (he leaves for work at 1am) so I can see him before he leaves cuz I wont see him tomorrow before I leave.
