I've been trying to sell my birdcage on UsedOttawa. Really it's a case of make me an offer and get it out of my house. So follow with me on this e-mail trail over three days...
Opening e-mail: good u lower the price
Me: I am open to lowering the price, just make me an offer!
Them: 50$
Me: That works for me. When can you come pick it up?
Them: where to u live
Me: The nearest major intersection is Albion and Walkley.
Them: Is the cage new? By the way i live in southkeys and how big is the cage

It is not new, it was used for roughly 3 years for 2 budgies. It has since been disassembled, cleaned thoroughly without anything that can be harmful to birds, and reassembled.
According to the manufacturer, the cage is 20"L x 22"H x 16"W (51 cm x 56 cm x 41 cm) and the stand measures 24"L x 30"H x 14"W (61 cm x 77 cm x 36 cm).
South Keys is not too far from here.
Them: i was wondering if u could lower the price since its use

The simple answer is no.
I purchased the cage and accessories for over $175, and listed at less than half of the retail price. I have already agreed to a further reduction in price to $50. I believe I have been accommodating in answering your questions up to this point. The condition of the cage is "like new", and I am sorry to inform you that the website is "UsedOttawa" and as such the assumption should be that goods on the site are indeed used.
If you are still interested, the cage and accessories are now a firm $50. Please indicate if you are interested in coming to see the cage, otherwise I would suggest that you look at PetSmart for something newer, or elsewhere on UsedOttawa for an item more in line with your budget.

Okay, so I'm unlikely to get a sale at this point, but if you know anyone interested in an awesome birdcage suitable for budgies/parakeets, finches or cockatiels, let me know! I'm reasonable to a point.
