A question
If you say something and the other person stiffens as though upset, but makes a light remark in response or no response, what do you do? If it depends, what does it depend on?
Since someone inevitably asks, no, you were not the person making the remark nor stiffening for that matter, I promise. :) I'm just curious to see what folks will say.
