Big Bang Art: Becoming What We Pretend To Be
For spn_j2_bigbang, I made art for locknkey's great Sam/Dean fic, Becoming What We Pretend To Be! It's teenage Wincest and pretend boyfriends trope, two of my favorite things, so I srsly couldn't resist it. :D

The main art piece for this fic! As always, I tried to capture the essence of the fic, so we have teenage Winchesters, angst, high school, and brotherly love. :P I specifically used pictures of Brock and Colin, not teen!J2, for that reason. (Also because most of J2's teenage pictures are hilarious.) Graphic textures are by oxoniensis; the superimposed school image is a real high school I found on Google. From top to bottom, the fonts are Jenna Sue, Moon Flower Bold, and Cheddar Jack.

Just a reduction of the banner, nothing super important to say, although you can see the school much more clearly here. I did a couple of color variations at locknkey's request.

This started out as a file named "crapdraft.png" way back at the beginning of the process and wasn't intended for much. But then I was looking at it one night and decided it would be fun to turn it into the 2000s-era YA romance book cover it was always yearning to be. So here you go. :D Fonts are Team MT and (appropriately) Teen.
