The internet version of a funeral pyre

So my mom called me yesterday morning to tell me that they had to put our cat, Luke, to sleep. He would have been sixteen next week and had become anemic, among other health issues, so it wasn't exactly a surprise, but we had him for most of my life, and I'm still kind of in shock and crying a little. There's some stuff I said when his sister passed a few years ago that's still true, but mostly, I just wanted to post some pictures in rememberance.

He was the best cat we've ever had, docile and friendly and cuddly and playful and extremely patient even when my siblings and I were little, and I'll always miss him. Still, he and Leia are together again now, and he's not suffering anymore, so I can't be sad about that. RIP, Luke. ♥
