SUPERNATURAL HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN RENEWED!
Which is AWESOME news, right? I've been waiting for the official announcement for WEEKS, hahahaha. I'm kind of excited to see where they go after this season--like, it's the fucking apocalypse, right? Where do you go from that? It'll definitely be interesting. I'm also grateful that we get another year (likely the last year, for real this time) because, um, I don't know about you guys, but I am not ready to let go of this show, these boys, or this FANDOM. ♥♥♥♥♥
HOWEVER, the big caveat: Kripke will no longer be our showrunner. (Very, VERY vague talk about the end of this season in that link, no details whatsoever.) SOB. Sera Gamble will be taking over, with Kripke and presumably Bob Singer in more of a consulting role. Which... I LIKE Sera and all, but I'm not sure how to feel about this. I'm a little concerned that it'll be an entire season just of boys emoting and Sam killing women with his cock, you know? Still, I mostly trust Kripke's judgment (though I'm DEFINITELY going to miss his evil geniusness), and I have to hope that he won't let that happen. Plus, she's said before that the show is the love story of Sam and Dean, which I am ALWAYS in favor of.
