We buried my grandfather's ashes this morning at the cemetery in Houston. I didn't cry at this like I did at the memorial, but it was hard. I'm okay, though. It was actually good to have that final closure. :)
Anyway, back home now. Tomorrow's agenda: brother's graduation at stupid o'clock in the morning, longass day camp meeting, and then STEVE, thank fucking god. Any of y'all who are going, I'll be wearing my Kane shirt and probably will have a large man hovering around somewhere (I talked my dad into going so I wouldn't feel as guilty asking for a ride out to DFW \o/), and I know I've posted pics of me around here before, so come say hi or something because I'm really shy about approaching people. :P
ETA (12:31 am): I just realized that everyone I'm talking to here is probably not, in fact, checking their flists. So NEVER MIND ME. XD
For the love of sheep, can someone please kindly suggest to Riley that he articulate his words better on the ballads? Seriously, I've been a choral singer for years, I can recommend vocal exercises to fix that. I know it's probably a "style" or whatever, but when I can't understand half the words because you're slurring them all together, that's an issue. (Ilu really, Riley. And I love that you wrote a song about Vancouver. ♥)
