Hee, how cool! It was neat to hear your accent - a real Texan twang! It's amazing how international a fandom this is, with all the people in Europe as well as in English-speaking countries. I'm from New Zealand, I normally live in England, and right now I live in Italy - so I tick lots of boxes.
And you'd probably laugh at my accent - it's not strong by Kiwi standards, but it's quite obvious to everyone else! It's funny, though, because I've been picked as Australian (all the damn time), Canadian, British, South African, and American...specifically, someone said I sounded like I was from Georgia, which is just weird as hell.
I'm always interested to hear voice posts, because I normally don't even consider where people on my flist live unless they actually talk about it. It's like, "you write SPN/J2 fic, you write it in English, and it's fantastic, so that's good enough for me
