Occupational hazards...

Sooooo guess where I was last night.

We were feeding the feral cats like usual, and I guess I opened it too fast or wasn't properly paying attention or something, because at our last stop, I totally cut my finger open on the can of Ocean Whitefish. :(

dakotawitch ended up having to take me to the ER, where they put five stitches in my finger, and oh my Jesus, there was so much blood. It was hardcore, guys. I think we were there for about three hours (mostly waiting), and I had to get a splint and a tetanus shot and everything. At least it ended up being covered by my insurance, yay for still getting to be on the family plan.

Does anyone know about getting things like this wet or not? Do I need to put a plastic baggie or it or something so I can take a shower (which I desperately need to do)? Their little instruction sheet is unclear and self-contradictory in places.

I can't write. Or well, I can, but it's slow and laborious and looks like someone else's handwriting, so note-taking will be interesting to say the least. This is driving me insane. Typing is going surprisingly well, though, although mousing is more difficult. Since fall break starts today, I think I finally have an excuse to just sit around and watch everything on tape from this past week. :D

We saw a POSSUM last night by one of the stations, btw. *_* It was HUGE and didn't pass out or attack or anything. I'm convinced it was some sort of sign from the Goddess, although of what, I have no idea.
