I have a headache from the prison light being on in my room (haven't broken my roommate of that bad habit yet), even though I can't hear the buzzing anymore because I have my headphones on. I did not have a headache before I sat in my room for half an hour with the overhead light on, and there's no other reason why I would suddenly have a headache

Fluorescent lights ARE evil, they make me crazy, I can see them flickering, and the hum drives me mental.

Looking back over my fic, I've noticed that often in a scene where someone is under great stress, I put a flickering fluorescent light in, for extra craziness.
