In for a long night...

Sitting up at SMU Rides tonight with some of my housemates because I need the hours like woah. I should be reading one of the two class books I brought with me or working on my poetry, or something... what was I doing instead until I came in here to waste time on the computer? Kicking back with some of the cooler girls from the house and reading the book on sexuality dakotawitch lent me what feels like ages ago. (Yeah, I know, I'm a horrible lendee. It'll come back into your possession eventually.)

Choir concert went very well, btw. We screwed up in a couple of places, and the Handel and Schumann (the German one) pieces were killer, but I think it all came together with the awesome gospel piece at the end. :D Susan, I'm sorry you couldn't make it! Probably for the best, though, since my extended family ended up turning out almost in full force... it was actually kind of terrifying to see them all lined up in the third row.

I've been trying to write this post for an hour and have come to the conclusion that I actually have nothing else to say. Here, have a meme. Tonight's memeage is ganked from intrepidredhead:

Go to Wikipedia and enter in your birth date, but not the year. List three neat events, three births and three deaths, and include the year for each.

gay rights era.

Clearly, I couldn't keep it to three either, and I'm not even a historian. XD
